UK businesses are being urged to reveal the challenges they expect to face over the next 12 months in our 2021 SME Survey which launches on Friday 5th November.
We are launching the survey for small and medium-sized enterprises with chartered accountants Nordens so that we can support firms as they negotiate the changing economic landscape following Brexit and the Covid-19 pandemic.
Our CEO, Greg Guilford, said: “Last year’s inaugural survey revealed that firms were concerned about the impact of Brexit and further Covid-19 spikes and valued the importance of staff wellbeing and mental health.
2020 SME Survey results
“We provided respondents with expert insights to help them in those areas and we increased our training offering, spent time helping businesses with their Brexit planning and launched a free Covid-19 Knowledge Hub to support them.
“We had a fantastic response to last year’s survey and we’re encouraging as many businesses as possible to take part again this year so that we can get a detailed picture of the challenges they face.
“This will enable us to help them prepare for the coming year and will provide a wealth of material for organisations lobbying on their behalf.
“The survey is available online and is quick and easy to complete.”
2021 SME Survey expectations
This year’s survey is expected to reveal that firms are still facing uncertainty around Brexit and Covid-19 and have concerns about resourcing requirements following increases to the National Minimum Wage and National Insurance contributions.
